So what is Jives?

Jives is me, Jenn Ivanovs, or as more commonly known on radio and to my friends Jenn Ivy – Jives for short. I chose to name my company Jives because I believe in my team of independent contractors as much as I do myself.

As a veteran of the events industry I’ve worked with everything from modest community fundraisers to large scale galas and festivals. I thrive in the fast paced environments that events provide and believe in creating lasting memories that don’t break the bank.

As a freelancer I believe in working with other consultants to tailor needs to suit your project. I have trusted contractors at the ready for whatever your project may require. I also believe in teaching and coaching, regularly employing students and up and coming producers.

As a multi-specialist with a diverse background, I bring a unique set of skills to every project I tackle. Why be a Jack of all trades when you can be a Jenn? I’ve worked with charities, not for profits and corporate clients and understand the value of relationships between the organization and the market to which they speak. No project is too big or small and I’m always looking for my next great challenge.

In my free time you’ll find me advocating for womens rights, supporting local artists and preaching about #adoptdontshop (or likely asking to pet your dog).
